Beiyu has been annually investing over 20% of its yearly sales amount in R&D in recent years, setting up an R&D department mainly staffed by the talents with PhD or Master of Science degree from prestigious universities such as Fudan University, Tongji University and Central South University, etc. Most of our researchers and design engineers have been working in the analytical instruments industry for many years, they are well learned and experienced in chemical analysis, electronic engineering, mechanical design and assembly.

At present, Beiyu is the leading company in R&D and manufacture of gas-phase molecular absorption spectrograph (GMAS), our product High-precision & Automatic-flow-injection GMAS got support from the Innovation Fund for Technology-based SMEs founded by MOST (China Ministry of Science and Technology) in 2013, our product GMA3212 was certified as High-tech Incubation Project by the Commission of Science and Technology of Shanghai. In 2013, Beiyu was certified as High-tech Enterprise by Shanghai government.

According to the data from State Patent Office, there have been 13 relevant patents for GMAS in China, among which Beiyu has 11 patents as below.
